Our last Kids @ Makerspace event is this Saturday, Dec. 8 from 2 PM to 4 PM. It will be a holiday themed arts and crafts that your kids can create. Ornaments, paper snowflakes, coloring, whatever the case may be!
Open to all HCCC students, faculty, and staff and their kids. If you’re a kid at heart, you are welcome to join, too!
Last month’s loop scarf event was very popular so we decided to do one again for this Wednesday, Dec. 5 from 2-4 PM at the Gabert Library Makerspace. We’ll provide the materials, you provide the participation. 😉 (Remember, though, supplies are limited so first come, first serve.)
Drop on by and you’ll have something warm to wear this winter!
Enjoy playing video games? Want to de-stress before and during final exams?
Library Associate, Justin Epps, wants you to join him and other students to just hang out and play video games in the Makerspace during the next three Friday afternoons of the Fall 2018 semester. It’s a great chance to have some friendly competition, meet new people, and de-stress as final exams take up much of your time!
Click the flyer below for more information. Happy gaming!
HCCC’s STEM Club has been working on their drones since early this semester and now they are ready to solder some parts together. If you’ve ever wanted to learn how solder — or want to know what soldering even is — then come to the Makerspace on Nov. 27 at 4:30 PM and let the STEM Club show you how!

Our Library Associate, Nouara Oubraham, will show you how to make a loop scarf this Wednesday on Nov. 14 from 1-3 PM in the Makerspace. Materials will be provided and so will the treats. Click the flyer below for more information!
