The Library will be hosting a workshop about open educational resources. Faculty and staff are invited to attend and learn about Open Educational Resources (OERs), which are an emerging trend in textbook and course material publishing. Attendees will find out how the library can help integrate them in your classes. OERs represent a different approach to traditional expensive textbook publishing by allowing students free access textbooks and other instructional materials available online. This session will explain what OERs are, where to find them, and how to best use them in your courses.
The workshop will take place in the Main Library Makerspace from 10:30-11:30 a.m.
